Top picks of art from The Affordable Online Art Fair (open until 3 May, affordableartfair.com), courtesy of Oliver Laehndorf, Fair Director for our Hamburg edition.
With a passion for works by emerging artists from his hometown, Hamburg, Oliver’s personal collection is aligned with his role as Director of our Hamburg fair. And staying true to his geographical inspiration, his selection of top picks from The Affordable Online Art Fair (open until 3 May) also has a curatorial focus on German artists. We love this selection as although all the artists are geographically linked, their approaches are so varied! Scroll on for more…
“As Fair Director for Affordable Art Fair Hamburg since 2011, I wanted to focus on the great regional approach our fairs have, so I’ve picked five artworks from both German artists and galleries. I selected Hamburg based artists Isabel Kamp and Ivo von Renner, while Detlef Waschkau, Thomas Putze and Nomi Baumgartl are from Berlin, Stuttgart and Munich respectivly. Enjoy!” Oliver Lähndorf
