Alan, the Director of our Singapore Fair, has curated works from Asia Pacific and the UK as his top picks from The Affordable Online Art Fair (9 April – 3 May 2021).
Having worked on our Singapore fair for 12 years, Director Alan Koh has a personal collection of prints, ink paintings and photographs adorning the walls of this apartment. Browsing works from The Affordable Online Art Fair (9 April – 3 May) he has created a varied curation made up of pieces from across Asia Pacific and the UK.
“I have an eclectic style of collecting and I love a mixture of styles, patterns and textures. Heather Wilson’s geometric inspired artwork captured me with its simplicity. PLUM’s mixed-media collage sculptures made with feathers is a great statement piece. Vietnamese painter Bui Van Hoan’s soothing scenery reflects their beautiful culture. Joe Li’s sculpture brings back a sense of hope with its minimalist approach to metalwork. P. Gnana’s traditional painting is just a classic to have. Hugh Turvey’s x-ray like prints created with traditional photographic techniques that produce images without a camera is just intriguing!” Alan Koh
