Exhibiting

Established in 1999, AAF is the leading showcase for affordable contemporary art. As a fine art fair promoting original art, AAF is for galleries and dealers rather than individual artists. At least three artists need to be shown on a stand, all artists must be living and all work must be original and priced under the ceiling of £4,000/€5,000/$10,000.

The Affordable Art Fair’s winning formula

Marketing campaign. Each fair is supported by an extensive marketing and PR campaign to ensure it attracts a strong art buying crowd.

Price ceiling. Each fair has a price ceiling on the art on show, so visitors know everything is accessible.

Wide variety. There is always a large variety of art for visitors to choose from, enabling each visitor to find an artwork which expresses their own individuality.

Learning fun. Organised workshops for all ages, talks and kids’ activity packs create an educational forum helping visitors to increase their understanding of art.

Relaxed atmosphere. As a move away from the traditional gallery environment, the fairs are often sited in a unique location (London’s is in leafy Battersea Park and Amsterdam’s is at the Westergasfabriek – a converted gasworks) and, combined with a buzzy atmosphere, they are an enjoyable environment in which to browse and buy art.
