The Affordable Art Fair

1 – 4 November 2012, Hampstead

Activities

The Affordable Art Fair isn’t just about buying art. A host of free activities are on offer at AAF Hampstead with our ever-expanding Education Programme.

Cass Art Education Space, Hampstead

All workshops operate on a first-come, first-served basis, but you can pop along to our Education Spaces at any time, to take part in drawing activities. Kindly note that children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times and cannot be left unsupervised in the Education Space.

Kids’ Activity Packs

Filled with fun, arty activities, these packs help children aged 4 – 11 discover AAF their own way.

Hampstead - The Art of Nature

Hampstead Heath is a truly unique place…who wouldn’t be inspired by these wonderful natural surroundings?! Many famous artists such as Lucien Freud and Henry Moore lived in Hampstead and were inspired by their surroundings...so we think you should be too!

Printmakers in Residence

Come along to the Print Workshop and make your own relief print under the expert guidance of the Affordable Art Fair's Printmakers in Residence.  Using an interactive ‘Heath Robinson’ inspired printing press made primarily from a garden roller - a magical machine which must be seen to be believed – you will learn a new technique and come away with your own handmade masterpiece! You can take your print home but a copy of your artwork will also be made to contribute towards a giant collaborative mural of Hampstead Heath, which will grow and change throughout the fair.

Spooky Halloween Face-painting!

On Saturday afternoon between 2-3pm and 4-6pm we will be offering free Halloween face-painting in The Cass Art Education Space. Get your little ones ready to go and trick or treat….or just spook everyone at the fair! This will be strictly  limited to the times specified and will operate on a first-come first-served basis.
