We love all creatures great and small at the Affordable Art Fair and even let you bring your dog along to enjoy the artwork! This spring our Education Programme is animal themed too - come along to the Education Space at any time to get creative or join in one of our hands-on workshops to create your own masterpiece!

arty activities to help children from 4 to 11 discover art in fun new ways.

The Education Space is open throughout the fair so feel free to drop in at any time to take part in the drawing activities.
Workshops - taking place in the Education Space
Budding artists of all ages can enjoy creating your own artwork to take away with you at one of our free artist-led workshops.
Join artist Samantha Barnes to explore the art of collage - glueing, sticking, drawing, painting and making a delicious mess! Taking a piece of her work as inspiration, you will create your own doggie collage artwork to take away with you.
Saturday 17 March, 3pm - Magical monoprinting with Tor Hildyard
Monoprinting gives a fantastic introduction to printmaking that you can easily try at home too! Tor is a prize winning printmaker who exhibits both nationally and internationally. She will explore printmaking using found materials, and help you create exciting images inspired by the shapes formed by animals, birds and fishes.
Sunday 18 March, 3pm - Creatures in clay with Ros Davis
Join ceramicist and art teacher Ros to create your own clay creature using air dry clay.Be prepared to get your hands dirty!
Print Studio
One to watch…
Saturday 1pm in the Print Studio - iPad Art Demonstration with Mik Godley
Join iPad art expert Mik Godley as he demonstrates how to create an artistic masterpiece using an iPad, a technique much in the spotlight as a result of the current David Hockney exhibition at the Royal Academy of Art.
Drypoint Printmaking with Artichoke, in the Print Studio
Thursday. Friday & Saturday at 12, 2 & 4pm and Sunday at 12 & 2pm
Join our resident printmaking experts Artichoke to try your hand at drypoint printmaking and take away your own creation.
